A. One-Day Tour in Taipei: Guandu Nature Park & Tamsui River Wetlands (Group tour confirmed !)

Itinerary: Departure from TICC → Huajiang Wild Duck Nature Park → Tamsui River Blue Highway Wetlands Tour (Dadaocheng → Shezidao → Guandu) → Disembark at Guandu → Lunch → Afternoon Ecological Tour at Guandu Nature Park → Return to TICC

Highlights: ★Visit Taiwan’s first wetland reserve, Guandu Nature Park, and learn about the important winter migratory bird habitat in northern Taiwan.

★Huajiang Wild Duck Nature Park is an excellent spot in Taipei for easily observing migratory bird ecology during the winter months.

Itinerary: Itinerary: Departure from TICC → Lengshuikeng Visitor Center →Menghuan Lake Ecological Tour → Lunch (Jingshan Recreation Area) → Xiaoyoukeng → Return to TICC

Highlights: ★Visit a nationally important wetland and the only wild habitat of the rare plant “Taiwan Isoetes” at Menghuan Lake.

★Explore Taiwan’s only volcanic national park and admire its precious volcanic landscapes.

Itinerary: Day 1 Departure from TICC → Hsinchu → Tuchang → Lunch at Shei-Pa Leisure Farm → Shei-Pa National Park - Guanwu Forest Recreation Area → Guanwu Salamander Ecology Center (tour) → Guanwu Villa (accommodation, dinner)

Day 2 Breakfast → Dalu Forest Road West Line (hiking, learning about salamander habitats) → Lunch at Guanwu Villa → Qingquan Indigenous Community (cultural tour) → Return to TICC

Purchase Notice

1.We will arrange roommate for solo travelers who select the options "Twin Room for 2 people sharing". 2.Registration will be opened on February 21, 2024 and the deadline is on October 15, 2024. Registration will be closed earlier if the excursion are fully booked or canceled (If there are not enough participants).
3.If the excursion are canceled. We will notify you to switch group or give you full refund.

Important Booking Information

  1. All tours are only open to "2024 SWS Annual Meeting attendees and their families". For those who do not meet the registration qualifications, we will have the right to refuse their registration.
  2. The itinerary sequence will be subject to partial changes or adjustments based on weather conditions or special factors.
  3. Customers are encouraged to purchase their own travel insurance before travelling to Taiwan.
  4. Pre-departure notice will be sent to your email one week before the tour departure.

Cancellation Policy

Policy

If you cancel some or all portions of your booking cancellation fees will apply. Refunds will be processed upon receiving written cancellations. Phone cancellations WILL NOT be accepted. - 41 days before departure: 5% cancellation fee - 31-40 days before departure: 10% cancellation fee - 21-30 days before departure: 20% cancellation fee - 2-20 days before departure: 30% cancellation fee - 1 day before departure: 50% cancellation fee - No Show: 100% cancellation fee It can take 30-60 days for us to process refund. It may take additional time for your financial institution to process the refund. In certain circumstances refund time frames may be longer.
